This resolution is needed to apply for <br /> reimbursement funding through the Transportation Alternatives Program through <br /> the Florida Department of Transportation. <br /> Pedestrian traffic will increase with the development of Gateway Park, furthering <br /> the need for a safe route for residents, visitors, and children to access the Park <br /> and nearby destinations. <br /> FUNDING SOURCE: <br /> Funding for the Pedestrian Bridge has been allocated for in the Capital Projects <br /> Budget. <br /> ATTACHMENTS: <br /> • Resolution <br /> • Pedestrian Study <br /> • Letter of Support from Mayor Edelcup <br /> Agenda Item No.IOM <br /> Date 7/18/2013 <br /> 190 <br />
