LESSEE's business, including the disposal of grease generated as part of LESSEE's restaurant
<br /> operation, shall be handled and disposed of as required by and in compliance with Applicable
<br /> Laws or shall be pretreated to the level of domestic wastewater prior to discharge into any
<br /> sanitary sewer system serving the Premises.
<br /> SECTION 23. NON-DISCRIMINATION.
<br /> (a) American with Disabilities Act. LESSEE shall comply with Title I of the
<br /> Americans with Disabilities Act regarding nondiscrimination on the basis of disability in
<br /> employment and further shall not discriminate against any employee or applicant for
<br /> employment because of race, age, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, national origin,
<br /> marital status, political affiliation, familial status or physical or mental disability. In addition,
<br /> LESSEE shall take affirmative steps to ensure nondiscrimination in employment against disabled
<br /> persons. Such actions shall include, but not be limited to, the following: employment,
<br /> upgrading, demotion, transfer, recruitment or recruitment advertising, layoff, termination, rates
<br /> of pay, other forms of compensation, terms and conditions of employment, training (including
<br /> apprenticeship), and accessibility.
<br /> (b) Equal Opportunity. LESSEE shall take appropriate action to ensure that
<br /> applicants are employed and employees are treated without regard to race, age, religion, color,
<br /> gender, sexual orientation, national origin, marital status, political affiliation, familial status or
<br /> physical or mental disability during employment. Such actions shall include, but not be limited
<br /> to, the followings: employment, upgrading, demotion, transfer, recruitment or recruitment
<br /> advertising, layoff, termination, rates of pay, other forms of compensation, terms and conditions
<br /> of employment, training (including apprenticeship), and accessibility.
<br /> (c) Non-Discrimination. LESSEE shall not engage in or commit any discriminatory
<br /> practice in violation of Applicable Laws, statutes, ordinances, rules regulations.
<br /> SECTION 24. WRITTEN NOTICES.
<br /> LESSOR and LESSEE agree that all notices under this Lease Agreement must be in
<br /> writing and shall be deemed to be served when delivered to either party at:
