COORDINATION OF CREW LOADING AND CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULING
During the course of the project, weekly subcontractor meetings are held on site. Attendance is mandatory for all trade
contractors that are currently working on site or projected to be working on site within two weeks. Scheduling issues such
as manpower needs and confirmation of material procurement are among the topics discussed during these meetings, the
minutes of which are recorded in the project log and distributed to all parties scheduled to be in attendance. Two week
look -ahead schedules are generated for each meeting by Link Construction Group thus providing an detailed management
tool to effectively coordinate manpower requirements with subcontractors.
The key to successful crew loading and construction scheduling is a detailed knowledge of per man unit production. Ba-
sically stated, this equates to the total man -hours required to complete each and every work activity. This can be difficult
to achieve, but Link Construction Group has established relationships with its subcontractors and these expectations have
become "the standard ". If we find a subcontractor not meeting our requirements, we will supplement their forces immedi-
ately.
® 4) PRIMAVERA
E
rhn Microsoft Office
a5- Project
RFQ No. 13 -08 -01 Gateway Park Pedestrian Access Improvements I Step 1
rE4 > c,
SURETrack®
Online Acc t Management
pram
