At Link Construction Group, as you can see from our reference letters, we first build a relationship, a team, since the suc-
cessful completion of any project is a mutual benefit. We truly are an extension of your staff and we are here to facilitate
your project needs.
Our initial approach to this advertisement was to immediately visit the site and discuss the needs of the city with our team
member Eddy Castiniera of Axioma3 Architects. Due to the fact that the Architect is involved in the design and planning at
Gateway Park, we as a team are FULLY aware of the importance that this project has in its symbolic and practical relation
to the new park. We therefore will promote a system of operation that is equal to the City's procedures and formats in the
involvement of its staff during the entire planning and execution of the project. We will assist the City through all of the
necessary procedures, presentations and /or obligations to ensure that this new landmark will be functional as well as aes-
thetically pleasing and useful to the community.
Upon our award of this project our team will immediately further develop schematic drawings into working drawings. Since
our team has previous experience with similar pedestrian bridges, this process will be fasttracked and seamless. Subcon-
tracts will be awarded during the permitting process to ensure once a permit is ready; Link is on site starting construction. At
this time a cost loaded cpm schedule of construction activities has been established and reviewed by all of our departments
as well as the city so that the owner as well as team members are continuously updated on the progress of work. During
our weekly internal progress meetings the schedule is updated and cost projections are updated which facilitates the city
during requisitions and our subcontractors with their invoicing. At the click of a button any timelines or deadlines will be
clear to the team and the owner.
Although our entire staff will have some involvement on this project, a site superintendent as well as a project manager will
be dedicated to this project for overseeing day to day activities. We have the experience, technology, and capabilities to
perform this project for you. Please let us know when we can start.
C
RFQ No. 13 -08 -01 Gateway Park Pedestrian Access Improvements i Step 1
