We have put together a team of highly qualified firms and individuals with the relevant
experience in numerous successful projects in South Florida. We believe that the City should select a team that will be easy to work
with and will deliver a quality product every step of the way. Our team's goal is to surpass the City and the resident's high expectations
on every stage of the project.
RMI has a proven track record of completing projects successfully within South Florida for the last thirty years. In particular, over the
last ten years RMI has successfully completed some of the most difficult projects in the region totaling over $75 million. While we have
encountered the typical issues that can be expected in a construction project, we have completed all twenty -five oroiects without any
issues. litigation or threats of litigation.
In addition, we have a working relationship with several Subcontractors and Designers whom not only have several years of experience
working on successful projects in South Florida, but also have experience working with RMI; we are confident this past experience
working together will translate into a smoother construction process and potential cost savings to the City.
The proposed Project Manager for this project is Victor G. Menocal. Mr. Menocal brings fifteen years of experience on similar projects.
Mr. Menocal is very familiar with the local permitting and design standards within the authorities having jurisdiction. This will be an
integral component of the team since he will assist in streamlining the design while providing valuable input during the early stages of
the process with the aim of reducing cost and simplifying construction. This will in turn translate into less impacts to residents, faster
construction and overall in a more efficient project.
We have teamed up with a highly respected Bridge Contractor, Anzac Contractors, Inc. They have 42 years of experience in the
construction industry with over 20 years of experience specifically in bridges. Recently, they have completed numerous Pedestrian
Bridges in South Florida: Cocwplum Pedestrian Bridge and the MPath Pedestrian Bridge along US1 and 67th Avenue. Anzac and
Stantec have worked on numerous Bridges together over the last few years such as MPath Pedestrian Bridge along US1 and 671,
Avenue; SR -862 Greenway 1595; and, SR 5 (US -1) Design - Build- Finance (Part II) from South of the C -111 Canal to SW 344th Street
(Florida City).
Our Team pledges to put the City needs first and to work with the City and residents every step of the way to make this a successful
project. We would like to thank you for the opportunity to submit this qualifications package and look forward to a favorable
consideration of our team.
