QUALIFICATIONS - COMPANY INFORMATION <br />We have assembled a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals with relevant and recent experience in similar projects in <br />South Florida. We believe the City should select a team that is easy to work with and that will deliver at every step of the way; with this <br />in mind, our Team's goal is to surpass the City and resident's high expectations on every stage of the project. <br />Ric -Man International's (RMI) corporate philosophy is that our reputation and quality of work is our biggest strength. There is no better <br />indication of how a team is going to perform on a contract than the firm's past performance; and for this reason, we can say with <br />confidence that RMI will succeed on this project. Our experience can be verified by contacting any sister agencies for which references <br />has been provided within this Qualifications Package. Our corporate philosophy revolves around putting the 'Client First. We believe <br />that in order to continue to provide construction services in South Florida we cannot falter on any of our assignments and <br />responsibilities. This is a philosophy that we employ repeatedly through all of our projects and it is one that can be corroborated by <br />those who have worked with us in the past. <br />The proposed Project Manager (Key Contact) for this project is Victor G. Menocal. Mr. Menocal brings fifteen years of experience on <br />similar projects. Mr. Menocal is very familiar with the local permitting and design standards. This will be an integral component of the <br />team since he will assist in streamlining the design while providing valuable input during the early stages of the process with the aim of <br />reducing cost and simplifying construction. This will in turn translate into less impacts to residents, faster construction and overall in a <br />more efficient project. Mr. Menocal was one of the three project managers that worked on the FDOT /MDX $180 million Design / Build <br />Project for the SR826 (Palmetto Expressway) Section 2 Improvement Project between SW 40th Street / Bird Road and south of SW <br />56th Street / Miller Drive. This project consisted of the construction of nine new bridges, drainage, lighting, landscaping, Intelligent <br />Transportations Systems (ITS), and signalization improvements <br />We have teamed up with Anzac Contractors, Inc. for the bridge installation component of this project. Anzac has recently completed <br />three pedestrian bridges that are similar in size and scope. We have enclosed those projects within the Relevant Experience in this <br />section. These complex projects display Anzac's ability to get the job done right and provide the client with a quality finished product. <br />In addition, Anzac's past experience with Stantec's Design Engineers effectively completes the team. Successfully completed projects <br />1 included in this section include the M -Path Bridge on US-1 over State Road 878, the Pedestrian Bridges along 595, and the bridge over <br />the C -111 Canal. <br />Stantec's Design Project Manager will be Jeff Crews, who brings over 24 years of experience in structural and heavy civil engineering <br />projects. Mr. Crews has managed all aspects of the work from planning through construction. He is familiar with the City, local <br />permitting agencies, and all members of the team and has completed similar pre - fabricated pedestrian bridge projects. The knowledge <br />and expertise Mr. Crews brings to the team will prove to be a valuable asset. <br />tOur team has a proven track record of completing projects successfully within South Florida for the over the last thirty years. In <br />particular, over the last ten years RMI has successfully completed some of the most difficult projects in South Florida. These projects <br />are in excess of $60 million spanning over 5 Design/Build Projects. Our Team pledges to put the City needs first and to work with the <br />City and residents every step of the way to make this a successful project. We look forward to successfully completing this project for the City of Sunny Isles. <br />1 CONSTRUCTION — RIC -MAN INTERNATIONAL, INC. <br />Founded in Broward County Florida in 1983, RMI has thirty (30) years of experience in South Florida. Working with various government <br />agencies including the State of Florida Department of Transportation and counties from Indian River to Monroe, RMI has provided over <br />$348 million worth of services with over 1.43 million feet of pipeline. In addition, we have worked with seventeen (17) <br />cities/municipalities, large and small, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Boca Raton, Ft. Pierce, Wellington and West Palm Beach. More details of <br />these cities and municipalities can be found in our Relevant Experience section of this proposal. <br />RMI has performed twenty-six (26) neighborhood improvement projects from $595 thousand to $35 million consisting of drainage, <br />water mains and sanitary sewers for 45 to 2,050 residents.
