C. Harry & Associates, Inc. <br />1 have had many opportunities over the past years to work on numerous projects with the firm of <br />M. C. Harty & Associates in my capacity as Town Manager for the Town of Miami Lakes. Thou projects <br />have included: the design of our LEED Gold Royal Oaks Park Community Center, development of muter <br />' <br />plans at the Miami Lakes Optimist Park and Picnic Park Emi. and design of our Boundless Playground <br />and Florinda Estates Park. <br />M. C. Harry & Associates should especially be recognized for working with our Town to achieve <br />LEED Gold certification at our Royal Oaks Park Community Center. In this case, the Town was planning <br />to achieve basic LEED certification for the facility. Through M. C. Harry's efforts, the Town achieved <br />Gold certification at no additional expense to the Town. The project has been featured in several <br />publications including the Florida Recreation and Parks Association's Facility Showcase Journal. The <br />firm also provided pro bono design services for our state of the an Boundless Playground. The project <br />provides children of all ages and abilities to play together in a safe, structured environment. <br />In all instances, the firm of M. C. Harry & Associates has proven to be highly professional, <br />interested in the owner's specific needs, and mindful of budgetary and time restraints. Many of the <br />projects required innovative design concepts and highly responsive design services in which M. C. Harty <br />and Associates has a great deal of experience.
