RESOLUTION NO. 2013 - 2.1 Z <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH OF <br />MIAMI -DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AD VALOREM TAX <br />MILLAGE LEVY RATE AT 2.7000 NIILLS PER ONE <br />THOUSAND DOLLARS (SI,000.00) OF TAXABLE ASSESSED <br />VALUE WHICH IS 8.9281% MORE THAN THE "ROLLED <br />BACK" RATE OF 2.4787 MILLS, FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />2013/2014; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser of Miami -Dade County. Florida. served upon the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach a "Certification of 2013 Taxable Value': and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 200.065. F.S.. the City of Sunny Isles Beach furnished the <br />County Property Appraiser the proposed millage rate, and the date, time and place at which public <br />hearings will be held to consider the tentative millage rate and tentative budget; and <br />WHEREAS, on September 17, 2013. the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2013- <br />2097. adopting tentatively the proposed ad valorem tax millage levy rate at 2.7000 mills per One <br />Thousand Dollars (S 1.000.00) of taxable assessed value. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Establish the Millaee Rate. The millage rate is hereby established as 2.7000 mills per <br />One Thousand Dollars (S 1.000.00) of assessed property value in the City of Sunny Isles Beach. The <br />millage reflected is 8.9281% more than the "rolled back" rate of 2.4787 mills. for Fiscal Year <br />2013/2014. <br />Section 2. Effective Date.
