Russo, City Manager <br /> FROM: Helen Gray, PE, City Engineer <br /> DATE: 10/17/2013 <br /> RE: A Resolution Granting Additional Conservation Easement Area to <br /> the South Florida Water Management District <br /> • RECOMMENDATION: <br /> We recommend City Commission approve the resolution. <br /> REASONS: <br /> A required permit for the Pedestrian and Emergency Vehicular Bridge is from the <br /> South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD). In processing the <br /> application for the SFWMD Environmental Resource Permit, additional <br /> conservation easement area is being required. In May 2013 City Commission <br /> approved granting easements for replacement conservation area and new <br /> easement area for mangrove mitigation; which have been approved and <br /> accepted by SFWMD.
