Russo, City Manager <br />FROM: Bill Evans, Assistant City Manager <br />DATE: 11/21/2013 <br />RE: Renew Agreement and Purchase of Tires with Goodyear Tire & <br />Rubber Company for Fleet Maintenance, Repairs <br />® RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff is recommending the City Commission approve the attached Resolution to <br />renew the Agreement with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for fleet <br />maintenance, repairs and approve the purchase of tires. <br />REASONS: <br />On July 19, 2012 via Resolution No. 2012 -1935, the City Commission approvec <br />an Agreement with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. for Fleet Maintenance anc <br />Repair Services in - an amount not to exceed Sixty Thousand Dollare <br />($60,000.00). <br />Staff is recommending the City Commission approve this First Amendment tc <br />Agreement with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. to provide fleet maintenance <br />and repair services, in an amount not to exceed Sixty Thousand Dollar: <br />($60,000.00). Staff is also recommending the City Commission approve the <br />purchase of tires in an amount not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) <br />via the State of Florida and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company Agreement <br />Number 863 - 000 -10-1, for a total amount not to exceed of Seventy Thousanc <br />Dollars ($70,000.00). <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />• Resolution <br />• First Amendment to Agreement <br />® .
