Russo, City Manager <br />Susan Simpson, Cultural and Community Services Director <br />12/19/2013 <br />Donation to Joshua's Heart Foundation <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />It is recommended that the City Commission approve the attached resolution to <br />make payment to Joshua's Heart Foundation for the fundraising efforts at Jazz <br />Fest 2013 in the name of Joshua's Heart Foundation in the amount of Five <br />Hundred Seventy Dollars and Eighteen Cents ($570.18). <br />REASONS: <br />Joshua's Heart Foundation was the designated sponsor for Jazz Fest 2013. They <br />provided the volunteers to assist in the event free of charge and marketed the <br />event to all of their followers. In return, the City designated the net proceeds of <br />the drink sales, net proceeds of the original art auction and one dollar of each <br />poster sale to benefit Joshua's Heart Foundation.
