Maintenance Data: For each type of decorative film overlay to include in <br />maintenance manuals. <br />1.7 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Installer Qualifications: A qualified installer who employs glass installers for this <br />Project who are certified under NGA's Certified Glass Installer Program. <br />B. Mockups: Build mockups to verify selections made under Sample submittals, to <br />demonstrate aesthetic effects, and to set quality standards for materials and <br />execution. <br />1. Build mockups in the location and of the size indicated or, if not indicated, as <br />directed by Architect. <br />2. Subject to compliance with requirements, approved mockups may become <br />part of the completed Work if undisturbed at time of Substantial Completion. <br />1.8 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br />A. Protect decorative glass and glazing materials according to manufacturer's written <br />instructions. Prevent damage to glass and glazing materials from condensation, <br />temperature changes, direct exposure to sun, or other causes. <br />1.9 FIELD CONDITIONS <br />A. Environmental Limitations: Do not deliver or install decorative glass until spaces are <br />enclosed and weathertight, wet work in spaces is complete and dry, and temporary <br />HVAC system is operating and maintaining ambient temperature and humidity <br />conditions at occupancy levels during the remainder of the construction period. <br />B. Field Measurements: Verify actual dimensions of openings and construction <br />contiguous with decorative glass by field measurements before fabrication. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.1 GLASS PRODUCTS <br />A. Decorative Film Overlay: Translucent, dimensionally stable, cast PVC film, 2-mil- <br />minimum thickness, with pressure-sensitive, clear adhesive back for adhering to <br />glass and releasable protective backing. <br />2.2 DECORATIVE-GLASS FABRICATION <br />A. Decorative Film Overlay: Apply squarely aligned to glass edges, uniformly smooth, <br />and free from tears, air bubbles, wrinkles, and rough edges, in single sheet
