Section Includes: <br />1. Solid Wood and Wood veneer ceiling panels. <br />2. Exposed grid suspension system. <br />3. Wire hangers, fasteners, main runners, wall angle moldings and accessories. <br />B. Related Sections: <br />1. Section 09 51 13 – Acoustical Panel Ceilings. <br />1.2 ACTION SUBMITTALS <br />A. Product Data: Submit manufacturer's technical data for each type of ceiling unit and <br />suspension system required. <br />B. Installation Instructions: Submit manufacturer's installation instructions. <br />C. Samples: Minimum 3-1/2 inch or 5-1/2 inch samples of specified panel; 8 inch long <br />samples of exposed wall molding and suspension system, including main runner. <br />D. Shop Drawings: Illustrating the layout and details of the ceilings. Show locations of <br />items that are to be coordinated with, or supported by the ceilings. <br />1.3 INFORMATIONAL SUBMITTALS <br />A. Certifications: Manufacturer's certifications that products comply with specified <br />requirements, including laboratory reports showing compliance with specified tests <br />and standards. <br />1.4 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Single-Source Responsibility: Provide ceiling panel units and grid components by a <br />single manufacturer. <br />B. Fire Performance Characteristics: Identify ceiling components with appropriate <br />markings of applicable testing and inspecting organization. <br />1. Surface Burning Characteristics: As follows, tested by HPVA (Hardwood Plywood <br />and Veneer Association) under the test standard ASTM E-84 tunnel test and <br />complying with ASTM E 1264 for Class A products.
