We have represented municipalities, quasi -governmental entities, counties, districts, community redevelopment agencies, housing authorities, financing authorities and the State in a variety of public finance capacities. We have served as Bond Counsel, Issuer's Counsel, Disclosure Counsel, Underwriters' Counsel, Bank's Counsel, Developer's Counsel and Trustee's Counsel for more than seventy (70) issuers in Florida. Our experience includes handling financings for almost every type of bond issue, ranging in size from under $1M to over $500M. This spectrum of experience, combined with the Firm's expertise in general local government law, gives the Group a unique ability to effectively advise clients on options that may be available for a given transaction and to structure and implement innovative solutions for difficult transactions. The Group recently acted as bond counsel and issuer's counsel on Florida's first issue of bonds to finance a property assessment clean energy (PACE) program. The program includes the cities of Cutler Bay, Palmetto Bay, Pinecrest, South Miami, Miami, Coral Gables, Miami Shores and Key Biscayne. The Group is also involved in PACE programs in Leon County and several cities in the northern part of Miami -Dade County.
