Dannheisser, LLC for Legal <br /> Consultation Services <br /> RECOM M ENDAT ION: <br /> This resolution is presented for your consideration. <br /> REASONS: <br /> At the regular meeting On February 21, 2019,, the City Commission <br /> adopted Resolution No. 2019-2923 which eliminated the City's in- <br /> house 'legal department-and.opted to contract a=law firm to provide • <br /> professionali legal services'to the City moving forward. To facilitate the <br /> transition, the'Mayor and City Manager were authorized to'retain'outside <br /> legal services. Having the necessary qualifications and experience as a <br /> former City Attorney, the Mayor reached an agreement, Lynn M. <br /> Dannheisser to provide legal consulting services while the City formally <br /> hired an outside law firm to fill the role of City Attorney.This'resolution <br /> ratifies and approves the expenditure of budgeted funds up to an <br /> amount not to exceed $85,000.00 with Lynn M.
