Russo, City Manager <br /> FROM: Sylvia Flores, Director of Cultural & Community Services <br /> DATE: 6/20/2019 <br /> Approval for Expenditure with ThyssenKrupp <br /> Elevator <br /> RE. <br /> Corporation <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended that the City Commission approve the expenditure <br /> of funds up to $80,000.00 with ThyssenKrupp Elevator Corporation, to <br /> cover the fees associated with a maintenance agreement for the <br /> Gateway Park Pedestrian Bridge elevators. <br /> REASONS: <br /> GatewayPark Pedestrian Bridge project was completed, <br /> a <br /> Once the <br /> five-year service agreement was entered into with the manufacturer of <br /> the elevators, ThyssenKrupp Elevator Corporation. This agreement <br /> covers general maintenance, of two hydraulic elevators at the <br /> Pedestrian Bridge, which is estimated at $42,500.00 for 5 years. We <br /> are also requesting approval for contingency funds for calls or repairs <br /> that are not covered under the maintenance agreement. We are <br /> estimating this amount at $37,500.00 ($7,500.00 per year of the <br /> agreement). <br /> ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> estimate of the funds anticipated to be <br /> This is an spent.
