ORDINANCE NO. 2014- <br /> AN RDIN N OF THE A CEO HE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br /> OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2013-412; AMENDING THE CITY'S <br /> BUDGET NO. BA1314-03 FOR THE 2013-2014 FISCAL YEAR - <br /> GENERAL FUND, STREET MAINTENANCE & <br /> CONSTRUCTION FUND, BUILDING FUND, CAPITAL FUND, <br /> SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FUND, 2011 CAPITAL PROJECTS <br /> FUND, 2010 CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND, STORMWATER <br /> FUND AND STORMWATER CAPITAL FUND; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS <br /> NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THE TERMS AND <br /> CONDITIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR <br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Subsection 200.065 and 166.241, Florida Statutes and <br /> the City Charter, the City Commission adopted the Budget for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 (the <br /> "Budget") by Ordinance No. 2013-412; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Finance Director has determined a need to amend the Budget for <br /> audited fund balance from Fiscal Year 2012-2013 to Fiscal Year 2013-2014, carryover projects <br /> from Fiscal Year 2012-2013 to Fiscal Year 2013-2014, Reappropriation of Funds and additional <br /> budgetary needs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that it is necessary to amend the <br /> Budget, as set forth in Exhibit "A", based upon the review and analysis provided by the Finance <br /> Director. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: Incorporation of Recitals. The foregoing "WHEREAS- clauses are hereby <br /> ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part by this <br /> Ordinance upon adoption hereof. <br /> Section 2: Budget Amendment. The Budget for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 adopted by <br /> Ordinance No. 2013-412 is amended as Amendment No. BA1314-03 to reflect the revisions in <br /> Exhibit "A". All other terms and conditions of Ordinance No. 2013-412 not otherwise amended <br /> by this Ordinance remain in full force and effect. <br /> Section 3: Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to take <br /> all actions necessary to implement the terms and conditions of this Ordinance. <br /> Section 4: Effective Date.
