Summary Minutes: Regular CiN Commission Meeting Januan.16, 2013 Cin' or Sunuv Isles Beach, Florida <br />N,lavor Edelcup said that is why we created the Intracoastal Park not because of the Arlen <br />House, that is what the Intracoastal Park is all about. Mr. Vivas said we could do a lot with <br />that wall, it could be something spectacular to receive our residents or if you didn't want to <br />go that far, at least match the architectural site of the Arlen House. That is his <br />recommendation and it was his recommendation three or four years ago, he has been trying to <br />achieve it, and the doors have been shut every time. Let's try to work together, we are only <br />asking for consideration, everything is still on paper. We have not started the bidding <br />process, we have not started the building. and so this is the time to think what do we want for <br />Sunny Isles Beach, for Morris Lapidus. for our residents. that wall is unacceptable. <br />Mayor Edelcup asked who put the landscaping in front of that wall? Who painted that wall <br />and who has been keeping it cleaned up? Mr. Visas said that is something different; and we <br />are not saying that we don't appreciate it. Mayor Edelcup said we are at an impasse, we have <br />heard you and you have heard us. There was a public hearing. the Commission has approved <br />the Lyall and the project, and at this point the Commission has not stopped that project. <br />14.
