R,`' State of Florida Division of Emergency Management <br /> I <br /> RECOMMENDATION: . <br /> 0 <br /> The City of Sunny Isles Beach, along with other local government <br /> agencies statewide, are entered into an ongoing agreement through the <br /> State of Florida's Division of Emergency Management for mutual aid. <br /> This Statewide Mutual Aid Agreement (SMAA) automatically renews <br /> every year. In 2018, the State updated the agreement and is requiring <br /> that all government agencies update their agreement to the 2018 <br /> version. <br /> SMAA is updated to allow for the agreement to be <br /> The attached p g <br /> activated for smaller events without the requirement of a declaration of <br /> a state of emergency.
