RESOLUTION NO. 2019 - <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br /> OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AWARDING <br /> INVITATION TO BID ("BID") NO. 19-08-02 TO, AND <br /> APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH, CLEAN SPACE, INC. <br /> FOR JANITORIAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES, IN A TOTAL <br /> AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE HUNDRED FIFTY-TWO <br /> THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS AND <br /> THIRTY-SIX CENTS ($352,715.36), ATTACHED HERETO AS <br /> EXHIBIT "A"; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE <br /> SAID AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS <br /> RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach is in need of a contractor to provide janitorial <br /> services ("Services") to the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City issued and advertised Bid No. 19-08-02 for Janitorial Maintenance <br /> Services and received five (5) responses, and it was determined that Clean Space, Inc. was the <br /> lowest responsible, responsive bidder; and <br /> WHEREAS, Clean Space, Inc. is qualified, willing, and able to provide the Services as <br /> more particularly described in the terms and conditions of the Agreement; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City wishes to award Bid No. 19-08-02 to, and enter into a two (2) year <br /> Agreement with, Clean Space, Inc. to provide janitorial maintenance services to the City, in a <br /> total amount not to exceed Three Hundred Fifty-Two Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars and <br /> Thirty-Six Cents ($352,715.36), attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br /> CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. Award of Bid No. 19-08-02 and Approval of Agreement. The City Commission <br /> hereby awards Invitation to Bid No. 19-08-02 to, and approves a two (2) year Agreement with, <br /> Clean Space, Inc. to provide janitorial maintenance services to the City, in a total amount not to <br /> exceed Three Hundred Fifty-Two Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars and Thirty-Six Cents <br /> ($352,715.36), attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br /> Section 2. Authorization of Mayor. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said <br /> Agreement. <br /> Section 3. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br /> things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. <br /> Section 4. Effective Date.
