<br />in FDOT projects.

<br />Mr. Li served as Structure Design Engineer and involved in the preliminary concept design and the final design of geometry, pile bent
<br />foundation. The new pedestrian bridge crossing the Snake Creek (C-9) Canal at Challenger Park in North Miami Beach replaced a timber
<br />structure that was decades old and in dire need of repair. So much so, that the timber structure was closed to traffic for a number of months
<br />before its demolition. EAC Consulting assessed the costs of repairing and continued maintenance versus replacing. The economics
<br />overwhelmingly proved that replacement would be in the City’s best interest.

<br />Structures Engineer for the project which consisted repair of cracks and spalls, retrofit of partial slab top reinforcement between the interior
<br />bents, application of FDOT specified epoxy as an overlay to the entire bridge deck, replacement of all expansion joints, replacement of
<br />damaged guardrails, repairs of the embankment at the abutments, and milling and resurfacing of the approach roadway to provide a smooth
<br />transition pavement to the bridge. EAC also prepared the MOT plans per the project requirements, and provided post-design services including
<br />shop-drawing review and construction assistance.

<br />unit bridges. One bridge is a three span concrete slab structure while the other is comprised of only one span.

<br />The project includes one 150’ bascule bridge, one 34’ approach span at each end with CIP concrete slab, four MSE walls and one seawall
<br />around the bridge. Mr. Li served as the Project Engineer and was responsible for the overall design of the approach spans, the MSE walls and
<br />the seawall. He designed the MSE walls and the seawall and performed QC for the approach spans structure components.
