<br />Media Relations Group Introduction <br />Media Relations Group, LLC (MRG) is a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Minority Business <br />certified Public Involvement firm, with staff that is familiar with the needs of this contract. The firm specializes <br />in project website development and maintenance, internet marketing strategies, graphic/print design, project <br />collateral development, content strategy, online engagement and management, as well as video production, <br />multimedia and social media/digital outreach. MRG excels in facilitating community outreach and engagement <br />activities including integrated design charettes and providing technical support in developing education and <br />outreach programs for our clients to identify and advance community and economic development <br />opportunities through multimodal transportation planning activities. We provide administrative support and <br />other technical support and services including preparation of documents and professional editing services for <br />various transportation projects and programs. <br />For over 20 years, MRG has served the north, south and southwest Florida community. The firm has been <br />fortunate to work on numerous districtwide and citywide municipality contracts, as well as bike/pedestrian <br />safety and educational campaigns throughout the State, including the Put it Down Distracted Driving (past <br />eight years), Drive Safe Aggressive Driving (past four years) and Alert Today Alive Tomorrow (1 year) <br />campaigns. MRG has contributed to the success of each of these campaigns since inception, garnering over <br />500 million impressions for all campaigns combined. <br />MRG STAFF INTRO <br />Jeanette Gorgas, Public Information and Communications Professional <br />Jeanette Gorgas has more than 24 years of experience, working in various aspects of communications and <br />television news media outlets throughout South Florida and media coordination experience on various <br />complex districtwide traffic operations campaigns and initiatives. She currently manages multiple traffic <br />operations and transportation related projects within Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, and has led and <br />continues to lead all traffic operations and driver, bicycle and pedestrian safety campaigns, where she <br />effectively develops strategic alliances and community and corporate partnerships to successfully promote <br />educational campaign initiatives. She has extensive experience in facilitating community engagement activities <br />including integrated design charrettes to identify and advance community and economic development <br />opportunities through multimodal transportation planning activities. <br />Laila Haddad, Public Information and Communications Professional <br />Laila Haddad has more than 36 years of diversified experience, who has worked in the planning, PD&E, design <br />and construction management of major Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects over the past <br />ten years with MRG. Her expertise is in the production and management of all phases of roadway projects. She <br />has served and continues to serve as lead Senior Public Information Officer on numerous PD&E, Design and <br />Construction related projects, overseeing all the public involvement activities required for those contracts. <br />In addition, throughout the years Ms. Haddad has managed and provided technical leadership on a number of <br />transportation and infrastructure projects for many agencies throughout Florida, including the FDOT District <br />Four, Broward County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), the Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE), the <br />City of Fort Lauderdale, and the City of Miami Beach. Her extensive involvement in the creation and <br />development of community awareness plans, public involvement activities, consensus building, strategic <br />alliances, plain language educational platforms and media outreach has afforded her the opportunity to have <br />successful working relationships with cultural and economically diverse communities. Her years of experience <br />and dedication, will allow Ms. Haddad to consistently ensure contract compliance, manage budgets, execute <br />special projects as well as effectively oversee all staff and work production. <br />E-54
