BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT <br />(Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />Miller Legg updated its previous +/- 1100 LF topographic and Coastal <br />Construction Control Line (CCCL) survey for a FDEP Coastal <br />Construction permit as a subconsultant to Coastal Systems International. <br /> <br />This was part of the beach boardwalk improvements design project <br />between Lummus Park and South Point Drive in South Beach. The <br />topography included trees and all above ground improvements. Beach <br />transects were established to the Mean Water Line and CCCL and <br />Erosion Control Lines were also established. The dune vegetation survey <br />included herbaceous, shrub and tree species. Vegetation data was <br />collected using a sub-meter Trimble GPS unit. <br /> <br />Maps were then created in a GIS program indicating dominant species <br />coverage with related percentages. In addition a tree inventory for <br />coastal tree species and associated attributes was conducted by our <br />Certified Arborists and displayed on digital maps. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />25.
