Supplemental Reviews
In addition to the QC review, we will perform the following supplemental reviews due to the complexity
and proximity to the traveling public
• Independent Technical Reviews (ITR) - Our team of highly experienced engineers in our Tampa
office, lead by George Patton, PE, will provide ITR comments at each phase submittal which be
formally addressed and documented.
• Constructability Reviews - We have assigned Steven Nappi, PE, from the construction inspection
division of H&H to provide constructability reviews.
• Biddability Reviews - We will perform a review to specifically examine the contract documents for
whether bid documents are clear and comprehensible, critical information has been included,
specific bid items are clearly defined to facilitate bidding and evaluations.

Quality Assurance Plan
Quality assurance is the systematic review of our design and
development processes and our quality control activities to confirm
that the desired level of quality has been attained and will continue
to be obtained. Quality assurance identifies procedural shortfalls
and recommends changes to improve our processes. Quality
Assurance is a company-wide process that confirms that the proper
processes are in place to assure that our services and products
meet the requisite standard of care.
The Quality Assurance Plan provides procedural controls for
maintaining the quality of work delivered to the Client through
communication and verification. Quality assurance is not a
substitute for appropriate project quality control activities. Quality
assurance is validation that our services and products meet the requisite standard of care and
communication of those standards. It is a company-wide process that confirms that the proper processes
are in place and being followed.
D-39
