H&H has brought
together a local team of experts to deliver the specific services required for project success. Our team includes R.J. Behar, Miller
Legg, Universal Engineering Sciences, and supporting subconsultants.
In addition to a detailed review of the RFQ, we met with Richard Labinksy, PE - City Engineer, reviewed the available documents,
and visited the site to fully understand the project scope. The “Bridge Park” will include elevator and stair access at each side,
elevated amphitheater seating overlooking Samson Oceanfront Park, and foliage/park features on the elevated structure. The H&H
team is to develop contract documents, including plans for construction, and obtain permit clearances for a pedestrian bridge
crossing Collins Ave just south of 174th Street.
Founded in 1887, H&H has amassed over 130 years of bridge design excellence – we are the oldest and most experienced
engineering firm in the United States. H&H provides the City with national bridge expertise from our local Sunrise office. We have
won numerous major bridge design awards and Engineering News Record (ENR) currently ranks H&H 8th in bridge consultant
firms nationwide.
This Statement of Qualifications includes our comprehensive understanding and approach to the Bridge Park project.
