• <br /> FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND <br /> PERKINS&WILL ARCHITECTS,INC. <br /> CONTRACT NO.6009-062-01 <br /> This First Amendment to the Agreement between the CITY OF SUNNY ISLES <br /> BE1CH ("Ci " and PERKINS & WILL ARCHITECTS, INC. ("Architect"), executed this <br /> day .of , 2020 is made a part of the original Agreement between the <br /> parties dated May 21, 2018, Contract No. 6009-062 (the "Agreement"), and the City and the <br /> Architect hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: <br /> 1. SCOPE OF SERVICES. Pursuant to Section 1.3 of the Agreement, the City <br /> hereby wishes to amend Article 1 ("Extent of Agreement"), Section 1.4 ("Definitions") of the <br /> Agreement to include additional construction administration services for the Gateway Park <br /> Build-Out, as more particularly described in Attachment "A", which is attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by reference("Additional Services"). <br /> The City further wishes to amend Article 1, Section 1.4 of the Agreement to delete the following <br /> language, "and the (2) interior remodeling for the City Government Center at 18070 Collins <br /> Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160, as set forth in Attachment `B'.",thereby eliminating <br /> the interior remodeling for the Government Center from the Scope of Services. <br /> The City also wishes to amend the following sections from the Agreement to delete any <br /> reference to Attachment"B": <br /> Article 1, Section 1.4 <br /> Article 2, Section 3.1 <br /> Article 4, Section 4.1 <br /> Article 5,Section 5.1 <br /> 2. COMPENSATION. Article 2, Section 2.2 of the Agreement, providing for <br /> compensation for the interior remodeling of Government Center, is hereby deleted in its entirety. <br /> Article 2, Section 2.1 of the Agreement,providing for compensation for the Gateway Park Build- <br /> Out, is hereby amended to bring the total compensation for the Gateway Park Build-Out to Four <br /> Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars($450,000.00). <br /> Article 2, Section 2.4 of the Agreement is hereby amended to reflect a revised total contract <br /> amount not to exceed to Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars($450,000.00). <br /> 3. PAYMENTS. Article 9, Section 9.1, subsection A of the Agreement, entitled <br /> "Gateway Park Build Out" is hereby amended to reflect the total compensation of Four Hundred <br /> Fifty Thousand Dollars($450,000.00). <br /> Article 9, Section 9.1, subsection B of the Agreement, entitled "Government Center" will be <br /> depleted in its entirety. <br />
