WHEREAS, on October 22. 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an additional seven (7)days, until October 28, 2020: and WHEREAS, on October 29. 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an additional seven(7) days, until November 4,2020; and WHEREAS, on November 5, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an additional seven (7) days, until November 11. 2020: and WHEREAS,on November 12.2020. the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an additional seven (7) days, until November 18, 2020; and WHEREAS,on November 19.2020,the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an additional seven(7) days, until November 25. 2020: and WHEREAS,on November 26, 2020,the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an additional seven (7)days, until December 2. 2020: and WHEREAS, on December 3. 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for an additional seven (7) days, until December 10, 2020: and WHEREAS, due to COVID-19. the City Manager has determined that a condition of extreme peril of public health and welfare continues to exist. thereby necessitating the continued state of emergency. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: 1. An emergency continues to exist throughout the City of Sunny Isles Beach: and 2. The declared state of Local Emergency is hereby extended for an additional seven (7) days. until December 16. 2020. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that during the continued existence of said emergency the powers. functions, and duties of the City Manager/designee of the City of Sunny Isles Beach be those prescribed by State law and the ordinances. resolutions. and approved plans of the City of Sunny Isles Beach in order to mitigate the effects of said emergency.
