WHEREAS, on October 22, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for
<br />an additional seven (7) days, until October 28, 2020; and
<br />WHEREAS, on October 29, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for
<br />an additional seven (7) days, until November 4, 2020; and
<br />WHEREAS, on November 5, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for
<br />an additional seven (7) days, until November 11, 2020; and
<br />WHEREAS, on November 12, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for
<br />an additional seven (7) days, until November 18, 2020; and
<br />WHEREAS, on November 19, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for
<br />an additional seven (7) days, until November 25, 2020; and
<br />WHEREAS, on November 26, 2020, the City'Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for
<br />an additional seven (7) days, until December 2, 2020; and
<br />WHEREAS, on December 3, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for
<br />an additional seven (7) days, until December 9, 2020; and
<br />WHEREAS, on December 10, 2020, the City Manager extended the Declaration of Local Emergency for
<br />an additional seven (7) days, until December 16, 2020; and
<br />WHEREAS, due to COVID-19, the City Manager has determined that a condition of extreme peril of
<br />public health and welfare continues to exist, thereby necessitating the continued state of emergency.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
<br />1. An emergency continues to exist throughout the City of Sunny Isles Beach; and
<br />2. The declared state of Local Emergency is hereby extended for an additional seven (7) days, until
<br />December 23, 2020.
<br />IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that during the continued existence of said emergency the powers,
<br />functions, and duties of the City Manager/designee of the City of Sunny Isles Beach be those prescribed by State
<br />law and the ordinances, resolutions, and approved plans of the City of Sunny Isles Beach in order to mitigate the
<br />effects of said emergency.
