WHEREAS, due to COVID-19. the City Manager has determined that a condition of extreme peril of <br /> public health and welfare continues to exist, thereby necessitating the continued state of emergency. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> An emergency continues to exist throughout the City of Sunny Isles Beach. and <br /> 2. The declared state of Local Emergency is hereby extended for an additional seven (7) days, until October <br /> 28, 2020. <br /> IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that during the continued existence of said emergency the powers, <br /> functions, and duties of the City Manager/designee of the City of Sunny Isles Beach be those prescribed by State <br /> law and the ordinances, resolutions. and approved plans of the City of Sunny Isles Beach in order to mitigate the <br /> effects of said emergency. <br /> Dated: PI Z2I?^'7-o By: ,�(1�� <br /> Christopher J.
