CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES (CCNA) NO. 20-07-01 18 City of MANAGEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND INSPECTION SERVICES Project Management Our Project Manager, Andrew Nixon, PE, will provide management oversight of our inspector(s) and associated technical support team for the duration of the project in order to deliver consistent, effective, high quality service to the City. The Project Manager will provide the inspector with whatever support is necessary to keep him focused on the contractor and quality of the work being provided. Along with the inspector, the PM will coordinate all project meetings and as co-chair, prepare agendas, take meeting notes and distribute minutes to the project team members. This may include:  Community involvement/resident's information meetings.  Review/tracking/monitoring status of:  Construction progress  Shop drawing submittals and responses  Contract document clarification and interpretations (RFIs)  Requests for changes to construction cost and or schedule  Review of contractor’s baseline and progress schedule(s) and require recovery schedules should the work fall behind  Process progress payments:  Verifying that the work has progressed to the point indicated  That it is in substantial accordance with the contract documents and that the contractor is entitled to the payment amount being requested  And that all required backup documentation is included, such as:  Subcontractor and contractors releases of lien  A current and updated progress schedule  Stored materials record  Davis Bacon documentation that may be required by funding grants  Internal Quality Control oversight of the inspector’s work product consisting of but not limited to:  Daily reports Owner/designer notification of contractor deviation or non-compliance  Issuance of non-compliance notices  Review of change order recommendations  Review of the contractor's construction progress schedules  Substantial completion punch list Construction Inspections Once in construction, RADISE will provide the specific inspection services requested. Our inspector, serving as the owner’s onsite representative, will verify that critical elements of construction are being complied with and that the general intent of the contract documents is being met. His main focus then shifts to not only documenting the work as it is being completed, but also verifying its conformance with the approved designed. His daily duties will include but not be limited to:  Inspection of work in progress to assist in determining if the provisions of the contract documents and permitting conditions are being fulfilled.  Report, in writing, whenever it is believed that work is unsatisfactory, faulty or defective.  Report, in writing, whenever it is believed that a hazardous condition exists.  Maintain daily log, of the work performed to include:  When the contractor is on the job site  Weather conditions  Changed conditions  List of visitors  General observations  Specific observations  Observed testing procedures  Labor force  Equipment on job  General observations  Specific observations  Observed testing procedures  Labor force  Equipment on job
