BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />RADISE has held this contract with Palm Beach County since 2011, and has provided geotechnical engineering, <br />construction inspection and materials testing services to the County on numerous projects. These projects include new <br />county buildings, fire stations, renovation to existing buildings, additions to existing facilities, access roadways, stormwater <br />management areas and play fields. RADISE performed various field exploration, laboratory testing and provided <br />geotechnical recommendation during the design phase as required by the project. During construction, RADISE provided <br />field and laboratory testing services for soil and concrete, and on-site engineering inspection to observe the on-going <br />construction activities. <br /> <br />Services include: <br />1. index properties testing such as grainsize distribution, carbonate content, Atterberg limits, moisture content, <br />organic content <br />2. soil resistivity tests <br />3. triaxial tests, compaction tests, lab permeability tests, UCS tests <br />4. monitoring well installations <br />5. steel inspection <br />6. building inspection <br />7. fire proof inspection <br />8. asphalt inspection and tests <br />9. pile installation observation and analyses <br /> <br /> <br />25.
