<br />This Continuing Service CEI Contract services the entire City of Riviera Beach (approximately 6.8 square miles) and
<br />includes approximately 2.7 square miles of land outside the District’s boundaries. Water is provided to approximately
<br />38,000 residential customers and 2,600 commercial, industrial and hotel/motel establishments. The System’s water
<br />treatment facilities have a permitted capacity of approximately 9.08 million gallons per day (mgd). The City has purchased
<br />and reserved 8 million gallons per day (mgd) of capacity in the East Central Regional Wastewater Treatment and Disposal
<br />Facility (ECR).
<br />RADISE is providing Construction Management and/or Inspection Services assisting in the implementation of its newly
<br />created Water/Wastewater Master Plan which defines the short- and long-range planning needs, operational and
<br />maintenance issues that impact the CRBUSD.
<br />RADISE is providing on-call CEI services that include but are not limited to the following:

<br />work effort. RADISE provides a complete range of Engineering, Construction Management and Inspection services (CEI)
<br />to the current and future needs of both the Utility Special District and the City.

<br />24. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost)
<br />The Water and Sanitary Sewer improvements for UAZ 110, 111 & 113 Project includes improvements to the existing water
<br />distribution system, sanitary sewer system, and transmission systems within the project area, along with the restoration of
<br />surface areas disturbed for the construction of said improvements. The existing system being replaced consists of
<br />approximately 168,100LF of water mains, 122,000 LF of sanitary sewer mains and 23,600 LF force main. The existing
<br />water main consists of asbestos cement, cast iron, ductile iron, galvanized steel, polyvinyl chloride pipe ranging from 2" -
<br />24" in diameter size.
<br />RADISE scope consists of the following:
<br />Geotechnical investigation: Perform soil borings and asphalt cores inclusive of drilling, traffic control, laboratory
<br />assessments, and geotechnical engineering and reports.
<br />Construction Engineering Inspections (CEI):
<br />RADISE is providing construction engineering inspector (CEI) for the following tasks:
<br />Attending pre-construction conferences, progress meetings and other project, Conducting on-site observations/verification
<br />of the construction in progress (including specialized field tests) to assist in determining if construction is proceeding in
<br />substantial accordance with the Contract Documents, Maintaining a set of "as-built" drawings with notes and annotations
<br />based on inspector's observations. RADISE also accompanies inspectors representing the public or other agencies having
<br />jurisdiction over Project and record the outcome of these inspections in the daily reports, along with performing on-site
<br />observations and verification of all of the conditions and site activities. RADISE also assists/participates in the substantial
<br />completion and final completion inspection process and in the preparation of a punch-list of items requiring completion or
<br />correction prior to final approval.
<br />Materials Testing: RADISE also provides on call materials testing including field visits for material testing/collections of
<br />soils and aggregates, asphalt, and laboratory services and testing reports.
<br />Geo-hydraulic Testing Services.
