License #CA8811
C-2
numerous projects for the South Florida Water Management District under two consecutive Continuing Service Contracts. We
have also provided construction management, program/project controls (scheduling and cost estimating), and inspection
services, amongst others, for several large capital improvement programs, including the MDWASD’s Pump Station Improvement
Programs, the Ocean Outfall Legislation Program, City of Fort Lauderdale’s WaterWorks 2011 Program, the FLL Terminal 1
Modernization Program, and the Town of Palm Beach’s Accelerated Capital Improvements Program, amongst others, and on
large sports and entertainment complexes, such as the American Airlines Arena, Marlins Stadium, and the Arsht Performing
Arts Center.
Ability to Complete Projects on Time & budget
The CES Team will be fully available and committed to the City to ensure successful implementation and delivery of any task
order assigned. The CES Team will be highly responsive and will communicate proactively to keep projects moving, to avoid
surprises, and to mitigate delivery risks. We will be accessible and responsive and will interface with your team face-to-face
when needed while implementing COVID-19 safety protocols.
The CES Team’s continued success is due in part to the collaborative and proactive management style that we bring to each and
every work order. Prior to beginning work, we will meet with the City and other stakeholders to ensure that we fully understand
your goals and preferences. This information will be relayed to the entire team, ensuring that there is a common vision and a
clear understanding of how we will continue to achieve this vision while maximizing the return on your investments.
With a diverse and “deep bench” of design engineers and construction administration/inspection professionals on the CES
team, each project assignment will be addressed with assignment of the right professionals, each of whom are ready to start
and experienced in the work required. This approach will drive solid budget control. The CES Team is dedicated to working
cohesively with the City to define, plan, design and implement any necessary infrastructure improvements for the City of Sunny
Isles Beach.
The CES Team: Capable & Available
CES has assembled an experienced and diverse team of qualified professionals and firms with a deep portfolio of relevant
projects completed for municipalities and public agencies, strong in talent and technical expertise, and specifically focused
for the assignments the City has planned for this contract. The CES Team comprises qualified staff members in the various
professional disciplines and specialties required to accomplish the potential tasks orders for infrastructure projects requested
by the City. CES frequently works with GCES Engineering Services for geotechnical work, and Longitude Surveyors for survey
and mapping work. We will call upon them, with the City’s approval, if needed for any assignment.
CES considered it important to have multiple professional individuals for each technical discipline to assure the City of the
availability of highly qualified design and construction inspection staff and of the CES Team’s ability to promptly respond to
any requested services. Our deep bench of professionals have successful track records working on similar municipal projects,
effectively eliminating the “learning curve.”
Our professional team will be available to the City immediately upon contract award. Our current workload is minimal and, when
combined with our staff resources, allows us to handle multiple tasks concurrently. As an added value to the City, Our sister
company, CES Construction, a multi-disciplined general contracting firm with experience in vertical, civil, water, wastewater,
and stormwater construction, can also be called upon to provide services as needed to the City.
The CES Team’s “can-do” attitude provides access to a full spectrum of qualified, committed professionals, the latest knowledge
in technologies and regulations applicable to the City’s needs, and a focus on successful, results-driven solutions. With the
depth and breadth of the CES Team’s technical knowledge and capabilities and the availability of engineering and construction
staff, we are uniquely qualified to provide the professional services required by the City of Sunny Isles Beach under this contract.
