BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br />OCI Associates is currently providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering design services to <br />redevelop the existing municipal complex. The initial phase of the upgrades to the municipal complex will include a new, <br />hardened Police Department facility to house day-to-day public safety resources and activities as well as a data center to <br />support Town information infrastructure. This facility would also serve as the Town’s Emergency Operations Center and house <br />police and Town personnel before, during and after disasters such as hurricanes. In addition, this phase will include temporary <br />parking, additional access drives, and a Veteran’s Memorial, to honor and commemorate those who have served our country. <br />Future enhancements to the municipal complex may include additional a 48,000-square-foot town hall, recreational facilities, <br />additional parking, green space, and community amenities.
