Terracon's local Miami Lakes office houses a full-service, materials testing laboratory that is accredited by the Construction Materials Engineering Council, Inc. (CMEC) and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Terracon has three additional South Florida offices (Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Port St. Lucie) that have comprehensive soils and materials testing laboratories that are FDOT approved and accredited by the CMEC or the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), and/or validated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Using such systems helps assure and maintain compliance while promoting lower cost and proactive environmental management. These cost savings translate directly into increased profits. These applications are developed to provide end-users with an easy-to-use interface to make data entry efficient and intuitive.
