CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />Request for Qualifications No. 20-07-01 <br />Professional Services <br />Continuing Professional Consulting Services (CCNA) <br />Request for Qualifications No. 20-07-01 GREEN • SUSTAINABLE • HIGH PERFORMING ARCHITECTURE <br />➢JAG would attend meetings either by phone or in person whichever the City of Sunny Isles Beach prefers <br />to discuss the needs and budget that will ultimately dictate the scope of <br />work. <br />➢With scope in hand, JAG would develop a schedule and project <br />milestone schedule and start work on a set of schematic plans. <br />➢We will work with our engineers to accommodate any necessary system <br />spaces into the early phases of design as this can affect available space <br />and layout. <br />➢Preliminary drawings would be developed to review with the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach staff and at that time, we may make alternative design <br />recommendations to meet your goals and budget. <br />➢If necessary, JAG would conduct an in-depth site evaluation and/or <br />existing conditions survey <br />➢Regularly scheduled meetings and communication with the City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />➢Site visits to observe, or inspect construction progress <br />Examples of Minor & Major Architectural Projects: <br />➢Repairs, modifications, alterations, and new construction projects <br />➢Safety and Security Assessments <br />➢ADA Review and Remodel <br />Architecture <br />➢Planning, programming, design, preparation of construction documents, permitting and construction <br />supervision. <br />Construction Management <br />➢Identification of potential problems, utility coordination, inspection of all stages of the <br />construction/installation, scheduling and cost estimation, claims review, <br />shop drawing review and approval, inspection reporting and documentation, <br />and preparation and submittal of punch lists, as-built plans, record drawings <br />and close-out documents. <br />ADA Consultant <br />➢ADA surveys, the analysis of existing public programs, and the development <br />of barrier removal plans that include architectural solutions, plans, and <br />program modification recommendations to satisfy Title II and/or or Section <br />504, and Fair Housing compliance requirements. <br />Page 13
