Proposed ramps and steps will be constructed in private land, which
access to the public will be uninterrupted, open 24 hours a day and an easement granted to the City of
Miami Gardens to place proposed ramps in public land.
Project also included two pedestrian tunnels, to cross the perimeter road surrounding the stadium, without
conflicts to pedestrians. The pedestrian tunnels included prefabricated concrete structures, drainage,
underground utility relocation, and sump pump modifications. PDS was retained as the Land Surveyors
and Civil engineers for this very aggressive schedule. PDS’s expedited response and experience working
at Miami Gardens was key to the successful completion of this project, not only in the design phase but
also in the permitting stage. PDS also coordinated the drafting and approval process through Miami-Dade
County for the land and aerial easements required for the pedestrian bridges.

Premiere Design Solutions Staff’s Task in the project is:

Topographic Land Survey
Easement and Legal Description Drafting and Coordination
Stormwater Management Design
Permitting of Civil Components
Utility Design and Coordination

Hard Rock Stadium Pedestrian Bridges and
Tunnels
City of Miami Gardens, Florida.
141
