<br />EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
<br />Mr. Jurado is a professional engineer registered in the states of Florida and South
<br />Carolina with over 17 years of experience in civil, transportation and municipal
<br />engineering design. Mr. Jurado currently serves as the President of Premiere
<br />Design Solutions, Inc. and he is the professional in charge of all project coordination
<br />between PDS and its Clients. PDS recently served as the Prime Consultant for the
<br />Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) and Broward County
<br />Transit (BCT), the two largest transit authorities in the state of Florida. Mr. Jurado
<br />has been the project coordinator for the professional engineering services work
<br />assigned to PDS with duties and responsibilities that include meeting on a regular
<br />basis with DTPW and BCT officials to provide recommendations on scope of work
<br />and schedule for projects, meetings with governmental agencies having jurisdiction
<br />over project site locations to discuss and negotiate permitting requirements,
<br />complying with Federal Transit Authority (FTA) specifications, Tiger Grants, and
<br />quality control review. Mr. Jurado has led his team in transit improvements at more
<br />than 1,000 locations in over 30 municipalities in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.

<br />RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
<br />
<br />Continuous Professional Services for Federally Funded Projects, Miami Dade
<br />Transit, Miami-Dade County, Florida. The Continuous Professional Services for
<br />Federally Funded projects is a multi-year project to develop transit facilities that are
<br />funded through the FTA. The scope of work for this contract includes but is not
<br />limited to technical and operation planning, transit studies, environmental impact
<br />statements, permitting, engineering inspections, surveying, cost estimating,
<br />structural, geotechnical, industrial, electrical, systems and mechanical engineering,
<br />architecture, transit planning in accordance with FTA requirements, design criteria,
<br />support negotiation of full funding grant agreements, plan and specification reviews
<br />for federal compliance, design of new transit facilities, construction engineering and
<br />inspections, value engineering, project cost estimates and traffic studies. Mr. Jurado
<br />was responsible to oversee eight work orders under this contract performing quality
<br />control review and analysis of FTA guidelines, project coordination and assisting
<br />upper management at DTPW with prioritizing transit improvements.

<br />ARRA Municipalities Groups “A” & “C”, Miami Dade Transit, Miami-Dade
<br />County, Florida. The ARRA Municipalities Groups “A” & “C” Transit
<br />Improvements projects consisted of transit improvements at 72 locations in Miami-
<br />Dade County, in the Cities of Homestead, North Miami, Miami Lakes, Bay Harbor,
<br />El Portal, Opa Locka, Florida City, Surfside, North Miami Beach and Aventura.
<br />The projects were Federally Funded and coordinated by the Miami-Dade Transit
<br />Department, following all American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)
<br />guidelines and regulations. Projects included ADA accessibility improvements to
<br />bus stop locations, new bus shelters and amenities, sidewalk, reinforced conc.
<br />pads, relocation of existing bus shelters and permitting with regulatory agencies.
<br />Mr. Jurado was involved with negotiating permitting requirements for this project.
<br />Pump Station 11-C Rehabilitation, Opa Locka, Miami -Dade County, Florida
<br />This project consisted in providing sanitary sewer upgrades and building
<br />rehabilitation to the master lift station in the City of Opa-Locka responsible for the
<br />collection of all sanitary sewer flows in the City and routing them to the receiving
<br />Miami-Dade Water and Sewer pump station through an existing 12” force main and
<br />an operating flow of 1,700 gpm. Mr. Jurado was responsible for Municipal
<br />Coordination and obtaining permit approvals in a timely manner. In addition, Mr.
<br />Jurado implemented the QA/QC procedures and reviews at the 30%, 60%, 90% and
<br />100% design phases including plans, specifications and schedule reviews to ensure
<br />project was completed within time and budget established for the project.
