The ultimate goal of the project <br />is to install electric charging facilites for upcoming electric buses at this facility. <br /> <br />In this project, PDS provided Level "B" underground utility location according to ASCE SUE procedures <br />adopted by Federal Highway Administration. PDS obtained a Design Sunshine-One-Call Ticket and <br />requested as-built drawing from all utilities responding to the ticket. Information collected was analyzed <br />and drafted into and AutoCAD Underground Utilities file. This information was used by our field location <br />crews to field mark existing utilities critical and open areas including roadways and areas outside existing <br />buildings. PDS also utilized GPR and Electronic Induction devices to tone up the lines in order to be able <br />to locate and paint them in color coded mode according APWA Uniform Color Codes. Painting markings <br />were collectd by survey crew to accurately represent their location in a drawing deliverable. <br /> <br />Once designation was complted, PDS scheduled and conducted utility location services at 25 (twenty-five) <br />identified Soft dig locations, at specific locations determined by the client and verified by our markigns. <br />This SUE task included certified Reports for the Soft digs, along with the field SUE Reports detailing <br />horizontal location, surface elevation, surface material, measure down to top of utility, diameter of the line <br />or width of conduit, type of material, owner if determinable and direction of line at that location. <br /> <br />Premiere Design Solution’s role in the project is: <br /> <br /> Designate, and then survey, underground utilities based on Sunshine 811 Markings (if available) <br />and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Electromagnetic Devices on the field. <br /> Subsurface Utiltiy Engineering (SUE) of an approximate area of 78,796 SF. <br /> Upon completion, Project Engineer verified the designation in the field. <br /> All surveys provided electronically utilizing AutoCAD delivered in a Compact Disc. <br /> Provided 25 soft digs to locate vertical alignment with report for underground utilities.
