(PDS) served as the Topographic Surveyor Consultant for Miami-Dade <br />County, under the Miami-Dade County Surveying Pool contract, for the completion of the surveying portion <br />of this project. <br /> <br />The project intent was to provide roadway intersection improvements at five different roadway <br />intersections. PDS was tasked with the topographic surveys required for the project, which required the <br />completion of five separated Specific Purpose Surveys, one for each intersection, but each had to include <br />all visible relevant topographic features along the proposed site area. Right-Of-Way research and <br />preparation, plat research and the submittal drawings were required to follow standards provided by the <br />Client, including layers, line weights, colors, symbols, etc., as established by Miami-Dade County. <br /> <br />Project had a very aggressive timeline to meet scheduling requirements. PDS utilized multiple crews to be <br />able to finalize within 30 days of work order notice, working at risk, prior to obtaining final approvals, to be <br />able to complete the project in time. PDS completed the following scope at each location: <br /> <br />1. Established centerlines of rights of way, based on existing Plats. <br />2. Showed right of way lines as per Public Records for the project area. <br />3. Established a physical control baseline for the project using the center lines of the right of ways. <br />4. Established a site benchmark in NGVD 1929 elevation datum. <br />5. Located all topographic data for approximately 50 beyond the PC’s. <br />6. All drainage structures located including the size of the structures, pipes inverts, elevations and <br />sizes. <br />7. Located all existing mast arm including lengths, height and sizes. <br />8. Elevation Cross section data every 25’. <br />9. Data delivered in state plane coordinates and aerial photographs <br />10. Signed and sealed Topographic Survey in a Scale of 1” = 20’. <br />11. Located all overhead wires and ground clearance at the Max. sag point. <br />12. Digital Cad drawing submittal prepared in 2014 Auto Cad version. <br />13. Prepared survey report with field data. <br />14. Cad Drawing used the Cad Standards as Provided. <br />15.
