VAN®ERWEIL� <br />Attn: City Clerk <br />Sunny Isles Beach Government Center <br />Proposal for Consulting Engineering Services <br />Project Understanding <br />Vanderweil understands that the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida seeks to secure qualified and experienced <br />professional consulting firms to submit statements of qualifications to provide services as required under a <br />non-exclusive continuing services contract. Vanderweil understands professional services, if awarded through <br />this RFQ, will be for projects that do not exceed $4,000,000 in basic construction cost and for study activity if <br />the fee for professional services for each individual study does not exceed $500,000. It is understood that the <br />city will periodically issue specific projects and assignments to the retained consultants on an as -needed <br />basis. <br />Minority Business Commitment <br />Vanderweil, although not a certified MBE, has a long history of subcontracting work to woman -owned and <br />minority-owned business enterprises and remain fully committed to meeting the subcontracting goals of the <br />City of Sunny Isles, Florida. The firm maintains a roster of highly qualified specialty sub consultant firms with <br />whom we regularly team on appropriate projects. <br />Vanderweil understands the importance of hiring disadvantaged small business and women -owned <br />businesses and remains committed to meeting any goals for MJW/DBE and affirmative action efforts <br />subcontracting on this contract. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to present you with our qualifications.
