<br /> <br />RFQ No. 20-07-01 <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Beach <br />August 2020 <br /> <br />D – Project Approach and Understanding <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Premiere Design Solutions, Inc. (PDS) is <br />proposing to be selected as Professional <br />Land Surveyors Consultants to bring our <br />exceptional service and responsiveness, <br />combined with our firms innovative and <br />“out-of-the-box” solutions to work with the <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />At PDS we recognize that communication is <br />one of the most important aspects of the <br />Client-Consultant relationship. Effective <br />communication translates to projects that <br />deliver and exceed all of the Client’s needs, <br />including delivering projects within City’s <br />Budget requirements. This is why we <br />strongly believe that it is key to a successful completion of this project to have a single point of contact. <br />This greatly reduces the possibility of information loss and breach in communications. <br /> <br />PDS is proposing Mr. Gustavo Eckardt, P.E. as the Project Manager and single point of contact to the City <br />of Sunny Isles Beach to discuss all matters related to the Land Surveying Needs and required tasks that <br />may derive from this project. Mr. Eckardt is a seasoned engineer with over 18 years of experience in <br />civil and municipal engineering, developing great organizational skills with the ability of excellent <br />communication and very familiar with completing topographic surveys for municipalities. Mr. Eckardt <br />has successfully completed numerous and various types of surveys for governmental agencies including <br />the City of Sunny Isles beach, where under Mr. Eckardt’s lead, PDS prepared numerous surveys at <br />existing sidewalk locations for the placement of new and relocated bus shelters. Mr. Eckardt’s <br />experience as project manager includes projects in the City of Sunny Isles Beach such as 40-Year <br />Certifications and Transit Bus Stop Improvements, also being Project Manager and engineer of record <br />for the City of Miramar for the design and construction of over 72,000LF of water mains, Project Manager <br />and engineer of record for the rehabilitation of the Master Sanitary Sewer Lift station of the City of Opa- <br />Locka, and the Design of Transit Improvements for the City of Miami Lakes. All of these, and other <br />projects, have been delivered on schedule and under the assigned City Budget. <br /> <br />Mr. Fernando Fernandez, PSM will is our Chief Surveyors with over 20 years of Land surveying <br />experience, personally leads all of our field work and then ensures all data collected in the filed is <br />accurately represented in our surveying mapping and drawings. Having Mr. Fernandez in the field with <br />our survey crew ensures all of his knowledge and attention to detail is transcribed into our topographic <br />or specific purpose surveys. Mr. Fernandez also personally and constantly is training our crews, making <br />our survey staff better all the time. <br /> <br />40
