PROJECT APPROACH AND UNDERSTANDING <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH RFQ NO 20-07-01 SECTION D – PROJECT APPROACH AND UNDERSTANDING <br />COASTAL PROTECTION ENGINEERING LLC | PAGE 2 <br /> <br /> <br />As Principal Engineer and Project Manager for the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach, Mr. Pierro oversee all engineering tasks and facilitate our team’s <br />ability to meet your needs through program guidance, establishing <br />priorities, and directing staff. His role will include working with our staff <br />for the development of work orders, schedules, and budgets, and <br />overseeing execution of the work from concept through to project <br />deliverables with high technical regard. <br /> <br /> <br />Quin Robertson, Ph.D., PG, GISP – <br />Assistant Project Manager / Geologist <br />Quin Robertson, Ph.D., PG, GISP, will serve as Assistant Project Manager <br />to support Mr. Pierro in executing the City’s work assignments. Dr. <br />Robertson is a Senior Scientist with more than 20 years of project <br />management experience involving upland sand sources, quantifying <br />and mapping shoreline change, public outreach, and construction <br />oversight. Dr. Robertson and Mr. Pierro have been working together for <br />years for the City of Long Beach, NY where they review USACE and <br />contractor coastal engineering projects to ensure the projects are <br />constructed in the best interests of the client. Dr. Robertson will <br />manage day to day project tasks including progress updates to the City, <br />budget, and schedule management. As a resident of Dania Beach, Quin <br />is a short 20-minute drive from the City of Sunny Isles Beach and will be <br />available any time to answer questions and meet with City staff and <br />elected officials at a moment’s notice. <br /> <br /> <br />Tara Brenner, PG, PE – <br />Senior Coastal Engineer / Geologist <br />Tara Brenner is a Senior Coastal Engineer and Geologist at CPE with over <br />12 years of experience. As a duly licensed Professional Engineer and <br />Professional Geologist, she performs a variety of coastal services <br />including feasibility studies, permitting, development of construction <br />documents, bidding support, construction observation, post- <br />construction monitoring and reporting, funding requests and public <br />outreach. Ms. Brenner specializes in truck haul projects and will support <br />the City with engineering analyses and design with oversight from Mr. <br />Pierro. <br />
