Ten of our staff are located in the firm’s primary office in Boca Raton, Florida and the additional nine are located in a Wilmington, North Carolina branch office. Our staff includes 6 coastal engineers with Professional Engineering licenses, 3 marine biologists with Master degrees, and 2 coastal scientists, both with PhD degrees. While we formed CPE just over one year ago, our staff maintain nearly two decades of diverse and extensive coastal engineering and environmental expertise throughout Florida, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Atlantic seaboard. Located in Palm Beach County, our professional coastal staff has worked with several other southeast Florida clients including the City of Delray Beach, Town of Palm Beach, Town of South Palm Beach, City of Deerfield Beach, City of Boca Raton, Palm Beach County, Martin County, Broward County, and Miami-Dade County on numerous coastal projects. After successfully completing our first year in business, CPE has established strong financial stability. The firm is registered with DUN & Bradstreet under the DUNS #117214443 and with the Federal Government under the CAGE #8F2E5. Following our formation in June 2019, CPE has a full year of financial information available. Based on our performance to date, we are confident in the firm’s ability to service the City if awarded a contract under this solicitation. The firm was initially funded by its three founding members and does not carry any debt from financial institutions or outside investors. As a result, we maintain the financial resources internally to fund the business with operating capital supported by cashflow for our staff of 19 employees, including 13 full time and 6 part time, for the foreseeable future and have no concerns with satisfying the requirements of the subject RFQ in serving the City of Sunny Isles Beach. We have a proven track record of completing projects on schedule and within budget for our coastal clients, most of whom are government agencies in Florida and North Carolina.
