BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />CPE staff have worked on many facets of the City’s coastal <br />program under previous employment, but recent efforts performed <br />with CPE as a subcontracted firm include serving in an advisory <br />role for development of the City’s Beach Management Plan. This <br />has included meetings with the City and conceptualizing the <br />components of the plan for further development and <br />implementation. We also provided a detailed review of the draft <br />Beach Management Plan, which is in the process of being <br />finalized and funded by the State. <br />We maintain a positive relationship with City staff and offer <br />responsive service and sound advice for all coastal matters related <br />to City. As an example of this commitment, we recently met with <br />City staff on short notice to evaluate a sand source of opportunity, <br />which the City is has obtained free of charge for potential use with <br />their beach program.
