City of Sunny Isles Beach | RFQ No. 20-07-01 | Continuing Professional Consulting Services (CCNA) Critical Path Method (CPM) Schedule Evaluations: The timely submittal, review and acceptance of a contractor’s baseline CPM schedule is the best indicator of the project’s direction and contractor’s intent. With each assignment, our Project Manager will request a copy of the accepted CPM and updates to evaluate the durations required for our personnel to successfully complete their duties. Our scheduling expertise can also assist in evaluating project schedules for claim analysis and preparation of construction time estimates. JOB SITE SAFETY PERFORMANCE METRIC MOT will be a major focus and point of emphasize to the team and the contractor on your County projects. Ensuring that a proper MOT plan is developed and implemented is essential to the success of our project. Our team is experienced with standard index 600 and MOT inspection. The team will ensure timely submittal if the contractor’s MOT plan. The plan will be reviewed by our team for comments then accepted if it meets the requirements stipulated in index 600 of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) standard index. A copy of the MOT plan will be on site at all times. Our inspectors will ensure the inspection of the MOT on daily basis and will ensure that deficiencies are recorded and addressed immediately. Our main focus will be providing a MOT that facilitates traffic movement in a safe manner during construction. We will ensure that pedestrian access is provided at all times as stipulated in the plans and in the maintenance of traffic-school/pedestrian document. We will ensure that the contractor submits a notice to the County’s special projects coordinator 30 days in advance of construction. The local cities will be notified of any lane closures or MOT phase changes at least two (2) weeks in advance. We will keep the County’s PIO informed of any MOT changes and lane closures. The team will ensure that the lane closure times stipulated in the plans are strictly adhered to by the contractor. Any request to change the lane closures times or allow lane closures on the weekends will be evaluated and discussed with the County in advance. CGA also understands the importance of providing real up to date information to the residents and businesses along the corridor. CGA is prepared to provide door hangers during the initial weeks of the project detailing the CEI contract information and schedule. Our intent is to visit each impacted resident or business owner to ensure they are aware of the proposed improvements, our schedule and potential impacts. Our experiences have proven that an informed and knowledgeable community reduces the number of complaints that each Local Agency will receive – our staff will work as an extension of the County to ensure that all issues are addressed timely with documentable solutions. We will make sure that all driveway owners are notified two (2) weeks in advance of any work impacting their driveways. The mailboxes will be relocated as per plans and the specifications to allow for continuous delivery of the mail. The team will perform a door to door notification in advance of construction. Previously, CGA won a Task Work Order (TWO) based contract for FDOT District 4 – Contract C9855; General CEI Consultant Construction Support, which lasted from 2012 to 2017, where we provided Project Management and Inspection Services on a variety of Construction Contracts throughout Broward, Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast.
