City of Sunny Isles Beach | RFQ No. 20-07-01 | Continuing Professional Consulting Services (CCNA)
Please reference SF330 for the following information:
• SF330 Section E - Resumes of Key Personnel's
experience
• SF330 Section F - Projects for CGA's project
experience
Past Record
CGA has extensive experience in providing consulting
services on a continuing basis to municipal clients. We are
currently under contract with over 60 governmental entities
- many for over 20 years - demonstrating that we continually
provide sustainable high quality services. Client satisfaction
remains our underlying theme and is the most important part
of any statement on past performance.
CGA has assisted the City with a number of projects in
recent years, including Construction Administration of the
Newport Beach Pier, Design and Construction Services for
the North Bay Road Pedestrian Bridge, evaluation of the this
pump station, 174th Street Roadway Improvements, lighting
studies at 174th Street and throughout the Golden Shores
Neighborhood, city-wide speed studies, traffic engineering
services, and engineering plan review services.
Financial Stability
CGA is a financially stable company with the resources to
ensure continued operations throughout the duration of the
contract.
Size of Work Force
CGA maintains a workforce of over 370 professional staff.
The workforce proposed for this project is identified in the
organization chart and resumes in the SF330 form included
at the end of this section.
Availability of Personnel
CGA has sufficient staff to support the projects under this
contract because we serve as municipal staff, and in keeping
with our reputation of being promptly responsive, we ensure
that availability of our staff never goes below 40 percent for
our senior staff and 30 percent for our technical support staff,
amending our staffing needs as necessary. This is a strategy
that we maintain to allow us to meet the impromptu and
unexpected demands of all of our clients without sacrificing
the needs of others. CGA guarantees that we will have the
necessary staff to meet all the needs no matter what they are.
Local Permitting Experience
CGA has extensive experience and knowledge in all applicable
federal, state and local codes, laws and regulations. In
our capacity for providing engineering services to many
local agencies in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, our
experience and familiarity with regulatory agencies plays
a major role during the project approach, design, and
permitting phases to allow for a more well-coordinated and
smoother permitting process. CGA has been responsible for
ensuring that all codes are met and addressed prior to permit
submittal, which leads to a reduction of agency comments
and limits any project schedule interruption. We have been
a part of countless projects and continuous communication
efforts with regulatory agencies for all aspects of design. Our
familiarity with permitting related to infrastructure projects,
specifically in Miami-Dade County, can be demonstrated
by listing the applicable regulatory agencies and pertinent
codes/criteria which are anticipated to be encountered during
the permitting phase of services.
• City of Sunny Isles Beach Building Department - Dry
Run during design
• South Florida Water Management District -
Dewatering Permit and Environmental Resource
Permits
• Army Corps of Engineers - Environmental Resource
Permit (if work in the intracoastal is needed)
• Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission
• Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental
Resources Management (DERM)
• Florida Department of Environmental Protection
(FDEP) Underground Injection Control Well Permit
• Miami-Dade Public Works Department of
Transportation (MDPWDOT)
• Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (WASA)
• Miami-Dade Transit (MDT)
Performance Records
CGA has an exemplary record of performance with each of
its contracts. Company-wide, CGA has never had a contract
terminated or canceled for cause.
The key to effective performance is assigning the right person
for the job. The CGA Team represents a highly qualified and
experienced professional staff with almost every required
discipline in one location. In order to maximize employee
utilization and therefore performance, CGA utilizes an
accounting software, Ajera, to track not only project budgets,
but also employee workloads.
In an effort to maintain the highest standards, our team
receives continuing education to stay on top of the latest
industry standards and processes. Through formal training,
seminars and in-house technical sharing sessions our staff
is kept abreast of ever-changing methods and technology.
24
