Dept. coordinating regulatory permitting, env. planning, site <br />assessment, resource management & env. technical support services. In general, Ms. Lee provides permitting services for env. resources <br />permits at the local, state & federal level, coordinates interagency & multi-disciplinary team efforts, provides the most feasible dev. & mitigation <br />options, probable costs for mitigation options, provides tree mitigation plans & tree removal permitting services, conducts wetland delineations <br />& wetland functional assessments, prepares Coastal & Conservation Elements for Comprehensive plans, coordinates on Comprehensive Plan <br />Evaluation & Appraisal Reports (EAR) & EAR based amendments, designs wetland mitigation areas, provides bidding & const. oversight <br />services for the const. & installation of mitigation areas, provides technical support, provides env. resource management & environmental <br />planning services to municipalities, provides floodplain management assistance & annual CRS reporting, provides annual NPDES reporting, <br />manages field staff conducting wildlife & habitat assessments, imperiled species surveys & compliance monitoring reporting. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST 30+20 <br />City Center Parking <br />Pembroke Pines, Florida <br />Responsible for environmental permitting, including the site assessments, wetland assessments and obtaining a US COE, a County and <br />a South Florida Water Management District permit for the development site and for a newly constructed off-site mitigation area. Nearly <br />the entirety of the development site was wetland and was comprised of multiple habitat types and qualities; also developed the mitigation <br />plan for the conversion of an offsite golf course to wetland habitats. The development fell within an FPL power line easement requiring <br />additional coordination and approvals with FPL. The US COE permit required purchasing mitigation bank credits. Economic developments <br />in 2014 lead to the City selling the off-site golf course. Worked with the City to release the recorded conservation easement and obtain <br />new permits to allow the City to build the parking facility within the FPL easement with a combination of mitigation bank credits and off- <br />site mitigation at another location. <br />2008 2012 <br />Lloyd estates Residential Improvements <br />Oakland Park, Florida <br />CGA was retained by the City of Oakland Park to address flooding issues in an older residential neighborhood. The project involves the <br />installation of swales/exfiltration trenches, piping and other improvements within the upland public right of ways. The project also involves <br />the installation of two (2) new outfalls into the Sleepy River; dredging, a new sluice gate and new seawalls in the river; the construction of <br />a pump station and the creation of a bio-swale/river overflow area within property adjacent to the river. CGA environmental staff conducted <br />all site assessments for permitting, designed the bio-swale stormwater overflow area, and processed permits through the U.S. COE, the <br />SFWMD and Broward County. Permitting challenges with this project included close coordination with the SFWMD operations staff on <br />project interactions with the C13 canal, also amending a sovereign submerged lands lease for newdredge areas. CGA’s fees: $520,000. <br />2013 Ongoing <br />Drainage Improvements <br />Weston, Florida <br />Conducted the site inspections and obtained permits from the US COE, the County and SFWMD for drainage enhancements. <br />2012 2016 <br />61
