<br />River Run Park Improvements, Miramar, Florida. TSF provided Construction Materials Testing and Inspections Services for the City of Miramar River Run Park Improvements project. The project included new pathways, parking lot, sidewalks, and a Community room. TSF performed In-Place Density (IPDs) Tests; Proctor and LBR Tests; Concrete and Grout tests; and Sample pick-up. TSF also provided a Building Inspector for foundation/slab, walls, tie beam, and wood trusses. Completed
<br />on time and within budget in 2016. Shirley Branca Park - Addition, Miramar, Florida. Provided Geotechnical Engineering and Material Testing and Inspection Services for the Shirley Branca Park additions located at 6900 Miramar Parkway in Miramar, Florida. The construction includes a single-story restroom and amphitheater, new sidewalks, and concrete drive with total footprint area of approximately 3,060 square feet. TSF explored the subsurface conditions at the site to enable an evaluation of acceptable foundation systems for the construction. Field work included SPT borings, Bore Hole Permeability (BHP) tests and Test pits. Provided geotechnical recommendations regarding foundation soil preparation requirements; Foundation types, depths, allowable bearing capacities, and an estimate of potential settlement and, comments regarding factors that may impact construction and performance of the construction. Completed on time and within budget in 2015 TSF provided Materials Testing and Special Inspection Services during construction. Testing included Modified Proctor values on structural fill (foundations), slabs, sidewalks, backfill; tested compressive strength concrete cylinders and grout prisms; performed In-Place-Density testing on structural fill material soils; provided soil bearing capacity certifications; conducted slump and temperature testing on concrete, grout; molded compressive strength test cylinders and prisms. Provided Special Inspector (Florida PE) and/or authorized representative to observe structural steel connections including welding, masonry walls, beams, and all inspections necessary to comply with permitted construction documents and inspection plan; provided concrete and grout monitoring during construction; provided weekly reports documenting inspection results to appropriate parties. Additionally, TSF provided final compliance letter that all inspected work was performed as per Florida Building Code, project specifications and City of Miramar requirements. Completed on time

<br /> Forzano Park Phase 2, Miramar, Florida. TSF provided Construction Materials Testing Services, for the City of Miramar Forzano Park-Phase 2 project in Miramar, Florida. The project includes a new parking lot. TSF technicians performed In-Place Density (IPDs) Tests, Proctor and LBR Test; and Concrete tests. Completed on time and within budget in 2017.
