<br />(RRFBs) at the intersection of Holmberg Rd. and NW 87th Ave. The roadway improvements included incorporating new dedicated bicycle lanes and roadside swales along both sides of the roadway, roadway milling and resurfacing (with some widening), miscellaneous safety improvements, landscape adjustments, overall drainage and roadway improvements. The scope of services for this project includes: Surveying, Utility Locating Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE), Engineering, Permitting and complete Construction Administration.
<br />Mainlands Park Design/Build, Tamarac, FL: The City of Tamarac was deeded the back nine holes of the former Monterey Golf Course to be developed as a park facility. Design elements of the park include a multi-purpose trail along the perimeter of the park and elevations to raise pathways, drinking fountains, shaded benches, fitness stations, a nature kiosk, fishing pier/observation platform, covered picnic tables, restroom facility, trash receptacles, and parking. KEITH provided Preliminary Engineering Plans, Coordination and Processing of Engineering Plans through City, County and State-wide agencies. Water Distribution and Sanitary Sewer Plans, Paving, Grading, Drainage and Earthwork Plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, Site Engineering Permitting, Project Meetings and Miscellaneous Coordination and Construction Observation and Certification Services associated with Mainlands Park in Tamarac.
<br />North Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (NRWWTP) Load Center and Motor Control Centers Rehabilitation, FL:
<br />The scope of this project included the design and engineering services during construction for the replacement of
<br />Load Centers 5 and 6 related Motor Control Centers (MCC), and replacement/rehabilitation of associated duct banks
<br />at the North Regional Wastewater Treatment Plan (NRWWTP).
<br />Oakland Preserve Apartments, Oakland Park, FL: The Broward County Housing Authority and Pinnacle Housing
<br />Group developed four buildings comprised of eighty 2- and 3-story multifamily garden style apartment units.
<br />A playground area and 166 parking spaces was also included. This is now a workforce rental community. KEITH
<br />performed complete surveying, platting, planning, engineering design, utility coordination, permitting, construction
<br />administration and certification services.
<br />The Lofts at Tarpon River, Fort Lauderdale, FL: This affordable housing development consisted of a mid-rise, a three-
<br />story parking garage and a garden-style building with a total of 112 units to be developed on a 1.5-acre site located
<br />within the City of Fort Lauderdale. KEITH provided services including processing of the site plan, platting, surveying,
<br />design and permitting of the water, sewer and drainage systems, off-site right-of-way design and permitting, utility
<br />coordination and the construction administration services among others.
<br />Alta Mira Apartments, Miami, FL: The project includes the redevelopment of a pre-existing mobile home park known as “The Palm Trailer Park” into a new 240-unit apartment complex with the units varying in size from 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms. The development includes all the amenities typically associated with gated communities; including on-site clubhouse, recreational facilities, swimming pool, buried utilities, as well as other facilities that serve for community-based activities. KEITH provided planning, feasibility study, engineering design, permitting, utility coordination and surveying.
<br />Avery Glen, Sunrise, Florida: This affordable housing Multi-family apartment residences with 149 units. The project included preparation and processing of the site plan, platting, surveying, design and permitting of the water, sewer and drainage systems, roadway design and permitting, utility coordination, offsite right-of-way design and the construction administration services among others.
